Different Types Of Beds

The world has evolved in the field of rooms and accommodating people in one room in various ways to sleep. Although, every time when comes to a bed we only get to imagine the normal four legs, matters, a wooden structure, the blanket and pillow. Little did we, know there many different types of beds. Here are my few favorite types of beds.

Sofa – A sofa bed is actually a sofa which can be used as a bed as well. It is normally used in small rooms or houses which can’t accommodate enough space for beds. It is also normally given to out as a guest bed for any visitors that come. Some sofa beds come with storage space as well so that u can store some of your stuff smartly.

Electronic – The electric bed normally comes out for patients. It has advance technology with many features such changing the position, raising the head part of the bed, etc. These are advanced electric adjustable beds just with the push of a button.

Bunk beds – These beds are there to accommodate two people as there are two levels of beds. One on top of the other, with a ladder to get to the top one. The main objective of such a bed is that it helps reduce space for two beds because both beds take the space of only one bed. These beds are normally seen in camps, hostels and prison cells. Depending on your need some beds have the option of dismantling and separating in to two beds.

Cabin beds – These are the types of beds where there is a cupboard or storage space underneath the bed. This is also mainly used to reduce space taken from the cupboard and be accommodated them under the bed.

Trundle bed – This bed is also designed to save space and very commonly used to manage space. This is two beds but one bed slightly smaller than the other as the other is like a drawer and can be pulled out or pushed in whenever needed. They can be used as guest beds, bunk beds and kid’s beds. It can be used for kids when they have a sleepover.

Cot – We all know what this is; it is the bed for babies. It has high railings around the bed so that the baby doesn’t fall off the bed. Some of them come with an option to hang dangling toys on the cot as well.

There many more types but these are my favorite types the ones that helps reduce the space in the room.
